PROSPECTS (as they seemed over-night): Short list: STEVIE THUNDER/2ND & NUTKIN/2ND (Row 1). Came out of the Aussie racing overnight with, for a change, a small profit. My stakes for the UK races computed modest in levels, so a good day never looked like being a bonanza one. But Win bets going down on my short-listed & one failure of the Place Onlys, was not compensated for by the successful Place Only results. It was an unlucky day for me - ending with an unseating and, truly, Nutkin was but victim to jockey errors in failing to win.
