PROSPECTS (as they seemed over-night): No short list. I found only two peripherals and these in the same race. I decided to go with just ANOTHER GENEPI/2ND (Star). My stats are strongly in its favour, not that this guarantees anything, of course. Indeed. Low grade but I did think it would win.

It has been a frustrating month - my having to be very careful, losing many gaining opportunities. But for this, my proportion of win days over loss days would certainly have been better than it is. I'm very glad indeed to see the back of January!
