OUTCOME: Always feels extra good when I've done all right without the help of my subscription tipsters!    OVERALL +75 points (including BASIC PLAN +71)
PROSPECTS (as they seemed last night)
Two "strong" and 2 "average" consensus favs. in my main list today, of which I feel only MONET'S GARDEN/WON warrants top billing (Row 1). Because my stats associated with it are very favourable, the adjusted stakes computed high - too high. I've capped them - feeling rotten, as usual, about 'having' to do so. (My numbers are there to be followed, not ignored, after all!)
I don't have a view on how the rest of my qualifiers/selections will fare, really. I've taken a bit of a chance with them. The other "strong" fav., PARKINSON/WON, failed to qualify - under my '6 runners under 14/1' informal rejection 'rule.' I've selected it for Row 3 on "Support" - one of the chances I've taken (that Support is below the barest minimum I'd normally consider). I have put it also in Fancies, more legitimately.
Often I do better on Sundays than I had expected to, but, somehow, I doubt today will prove to be one such. So long as Monet's Garden wins, I should be all right; otherwise not, I think. But seasonal debut rustiness and ground may be against it. If it does fail, I hope it comes in 2nd as my Place Only bet, though halved for Sunday Mode, is significant enough to hurt if that goes down as well. Needn't have worried
