PROSPECTS (as they seemed over-night): Short list: RAPSCALLION/CARRIED OUT (due to the proximity of a loose horse it was a disaster waiting to happen in my view) (Row 1), BLUE BEJAN/WON (Row 2) & POP/2ND (Place Only I). Odds stats 50/50ish on the latter but pretty good on the others, not that they garantee anything. Commitments to Win & Place are quite heavy today if I dare to go with my numbers. After yesterday's fiasco, when I should have won plenty and achieved peanuts, I am tempted to take the chance. I did and fell FLAT on my face! Once again, I may have to ease up later in the day if things go wrong early on. The main disaster happened late afternoon. They should do all right, however; but the fields are quite big on the former two races which is often a worry It was a factor, not to mention how ground conditions affect matters.
I'm not looking carefully for peripherals currently and rejected the few that caught my eye except for a couple within Cards (because my stats are reasonable on them). The ones I rejected ALL placed and the important one I kept in didn't. It was one of those days!

AMD: an "alphabetical monitoring device" for non-level stakes betting. ... [To illustrate: at a glance, the sequence on the then Supplementaries was at its worst on 26th April, 2006 @ "ZW."  I had brought it 'down' to "ZC" by 10th September, 2006. For Row 2 (fairly recently changed from "Supplementaries"), it now stands updated at "M".
