OUTCOME: The winning run on "Basic Plan" continues. No losing day so far on it in 2007.     BASIC PLAN +6 (within OVERALL +7)
PROSPECTS (as they seemed yesterday):
Just 2 short-listed. My stats very encouraging across the board on NEW YORK OSCAR/WON but it is opposed by Newmarket in the Selection Box (& he has a nasty habit of being the odd-one-out who turns out to be right) plus the race is a Claimer. So I've crept it in on "Row 3" within Basic Plan. (I'll chance a Remedial Supplementary bet on it within Overall, however, in the hope that Newmarket's wrong.) The other short-listed one, CLOSED SHOP/LOST, is OK on my Majority stat but not at all favoured for the win by my Odds stats (plus it's a big field) and, though 4 have Napped it in the Selection Box alone, it is also opposed by Hyperion's Nap/which won. I avoid confrontations of expert opinion as a rule. (Naps almost by definition are chancy in my book, or they wouldn't be Naps - due to what I term 'the value seeking factor.') "Place Only II" does me for that one  Correct decision except it didn't place (but I've allowed it into the mix in "Naps I" as the Basic stake currrently computes *tiny = less than 1 point). I was swayed by 4 of my favoured Naps Table tipsters going for it, but really I should have heeded my stats and settled for Naps II
Little risked (aside from a main tip if one comes in).
Yet another "Laura Luck" day, I think, but I'm hoping I don't suffer my 1st Basic Plan losing day of 2007.

*NOTEWORTHY: My policy, on banks that are in deficit, results in a situation whereby, as the deficits approach zero (i.e., improve), the stake sizes actually reduce. Soon, the hope is, the bet sizes will increase as the banks leave zero balances behind and move into growing credit. Resolutely, I resist the temptation to bump them up, so to say artificially, in a good period.
At the moment my Naps bank is marginally in deficit, hence the above tiny stake. I allow myself, in this way, to suffer extendedly, as a caution to husband my betting from these banks better in future such that I won't have again to endure the torture of doing well, results-wise, on miserably tiny stakes!
