I named 5 horses I expected to win today, in four races (I picked two horses in one race) and four of them came in - 100%. In the 2:50 at Lingfield I correctly named the first two, and the straight forecast paid over 15-1 on the Tote. More than 6 points profit to advised stakes.

I was opposing two runners today, both at Ludlow - the odds-on favourite My Turn Now in the novice hurdle, and Its Definite in the handicap chase. Its Definite had only managed to win once over fences, in a lower class, and hadn't won for over 12 months. I felt he is an expensive beast to follow and could not justify favouritism, so he was a lay bet to minimum stakes at 3/1. So, I re-couped my loss on My Turn Now and my lay bets broke even for the day.
