Hello there, my name is Max Redd. A while ago the guys behind the Betfair Blogs web site invited me to share my blog with their readers. They had seen my betting diary "I'm Betting On The Redd" on my web site and found it offered a different perspective on the stereotypical Tipster who (if his junk-mail offers are to be believed) makes "massive and incredible profits" every single day of the week.

So I thought "why not?" and what better time to start posting than the first day of a new month?

You can follow me as I take on the bookmakers. I have good days, bad days, days hardly worth talking about, and days when I think I'm the best thing since the pre-prepared loaf. So in fact I am no different to most punters!
