I wanted to oppose Hamish McGonagall yesterday, but it was never available at a price low enough for me, so I let it run. According to Sod's Law he duly lost. This afternoon I'm going after International Debut in the maiden at Ayr. On his debut he was runner-up and he is entitled to come on for that run. However, there are several other horses with a single run under their belts who also finished in the frame, so I think there is enough competition to oppose my choice at 15/8 or below. The soft ground also throws a spanner in the works, to our advantage.
