Please Don't Take My Premiership Away
Hello and welcome!
The international week, means no Premiership games and no system testing, unfortunately.
I don't know how you feel about these types of games, but for me personally, 'internationals' have become slightly mundane. Give me a weekend enthralling Premiership games along with mid-week battles between Europe's elite anyday. I thoroughly enjoyed the World Cup this summer, don't get me wrong, it's just that England qualifiers have a nasty habit of being dull, boring and should probably be prescribed to people who have trouble sleeping. Perhaps the McLaren era will be different. Recent friendlies have got people jumping on a bandwagon, but I continue to remain fully convined. Having said that, I suppose the fact McLaren doesn't seem scared to make big decisions (he's dropped Beckham, put Gerrard on the wing and may even adopt a new formation).
Nothing in particular, catches my eye on the new manager markets, so no bets to report for The Managerial Merry-Go-Round and I think I'll save my next nugget betting advice for the next post...
May you all make profits this weekend in your gambling!
Have a good one,
Josh.
P.S. Needless to say, because of the Internationals, system bets can't be made this weekend.

It's a funny ol' game
Hello and welcome!
It would seem the magic of the cup is back! Granted, I'm referring to the League Cup, but, all the same, it's refreshing to see some minnows do well.
Fulham lost at to Wycombe (the game was at Craven Cottage, too!), Wigan lost to Crewe, Man. City were beaten by Chesterfield, Accrington took Watford all the way to penalties and 'Boro was defeated at home Notts County!
Traditionally, punters tend to back these underdogs in such games, so I hope one or two of you managed to make a few quid.
In a brief update to my previous post aimed at people struggling with gambling addictions, I'd like to congratulate the several of you (and you know who you are) who have actually emailed me for further discussion. I've got back to a couple of you and will reply to you others soon. Between the exposure this blog is beginning to give me and the emails I already get on a daily basis from punters looking for betting advice, I'm beginning to get slightly overwhelmed by the number of emails flooding in, but will reply to all of you within the two days after you send an email on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Finally, my thoughts on too many traders creating an artificial market for people wanting to trade. In short, it's an excuse for lousy returns, in my opinion. Practice makes perfect and, I can guarantee you that if you put the hours in, you'll learn to consistently make a profit and I know this for a fact because there are people out there who live off of their trading. The bloggers I'm linked to are proof of this!
OK. Enough from me for the time being. There'll be plenty more to come from me on this blog about the subject of trading later in the coming weeks, anyway.
Have a good one,
Josh
