So the holidays over, and its back to the grind. No excuses now, its heads down, lets get on with trying to earn some money from the bookies!
Today there is only one game on, Luton v Northampton. This is a tough call. Both teams are in the wrong half of the league. Luton seem to be going through a crisis, especially after manager Blackwell got stuck into them last week after they got knocked out of the cup. A win for Luton would push them above Northampton in the league. Both teams boast players that have scored 8 times this season, Andy Kirk for Northampton, Paul Furlong for Luton.
Luton have scored 9 and let in 6 in there 5 home games, a nice even 3 goals per game. Northampton have scored 6 and let in 9 away in there 5 away games, once again a nice even 3 gpg.
This one is a close call, but as it is early in the season and nerves shouldn't be a part of it am going over 2.5 goals. I feel that both teams have goals in them, and if it is an open game then we should have 3 goals or more. The one thing that is niggling me is that Northampton will be without Paol Hubertz who is suspended but I will stick with over 2.5 goals.
nothing else until Friday due to the International matches
