Tuesdays Racing

12:20 SedgefieldProgramme Girl NB
This should start the day off rather nicely. Tony Dobbin riding for Swinbank is usually a thing to look for and this is the case tomorrow. Alan Swinbank has a good record here at Sedgefield and averages at around 27% here. Tony Dobbin has rode this filly twice and has won on her once in soft ground, his second ride he came up against a good thing in the shape of Jass who’s sure to go onto better things. Getting weight from all her rivals tomorrow this looks a perfect opportunity to start off a career over hurdles and can take this race en route to another success. Ground looks perfect!

I backed this horse last time out and he ran a very good race despite getting stuck in running turning for home. He recovered well though and went through the ground in good style before pouncing late on to score. Handled the softer conditions well and looks a horse with abit in hand and will be capable of taking this tomorrow. His biggest rival looks to be Chaim who has handled softer conditions really well and Kings Signal is much too short a price to be getting involved at, so I’ll side with Sobers as Nick Gifford has a good record at the course and Timmy Murphy takes the ride, who is 20% for Nick Gifford in recent years.

This horse will love these heavy conditions tomorrow and faces absolutely nothing in terms of the quality of Denman who he encountered on his first two starts over fences, but put up an improved effort last time with the experience of his fencing debut. Will be spot on for this race tomorrow and this can be a good success for the horse. Noel Chance thinks a lot of Bennett however he’ll need the ground abit more lively than what he gets here tomorrow and looks booked for 2nd at best.

A proper chasing prospect this is, built like a bull and was never going to win last time out over an inadequate 2 miles and was the first one beaten. This is a relentless galloping sort and a stayer through and through. This softer ground will pose no threats whatsoever tomorrow and has been upped a further 6 furlongs for his previous run. Tomorrow’s opposition doesn’t look overly competitive and I can’t understand why this is third favourite on the RP Forecast, and I’ll be having a good touch on this.
