Bank Of Kauto

Went out on saturday just as Everton went 2-0 up against Man Utd and Chelsea were 2-1 up at half time so I thought I was on for a winning day, Oh well.  Aussies won the world cup which helped ease the blow.  Also won on the cricket yesterday and nicked a few quid on the snooker.  Will post a picture of my gold cup position soon which is looking good already.

Im out playing football today so unfortunatly I wont be able to trade the cricket world cup final.  I already have nice green on both teams anyway and Im not really sure how the match will go.  My football bets for today are below

Blacburn win £10 @ 2

Lay Man utd against Everton for £15 @ 1.75

City/Villa draw £10 @ 3.3

Boro/Spurs draw £10 @ 3.5

WIgan/West Ham draw £10 @ 3.55

 

I have backed this horse the last 2 times it has run and feel I have been very unlucky.  It is coming back into form and its last two races have been against much superior opposition to today.  £20 win @ 1.7

Backed Mighty Man in the racing at punchestown and layed Brave Inca to place so a £6.50 loss in the race.  Layed Man Utd youth team in the youth cup final after watching the 1st leg Liverpool seemed like the better team so laying utd at even money seemed like good value.  Liverpool won the game 2-1 and won on penalties.  Overall a £4 profit on the day.

Id have Chelsea and LIverpool both at Even Money to Qualify for the Champions League Final so 2.26 on Liverpool is the value for me and £10 of my hard earnt cash will be placed accordingly.

 

 

I got lucky earlier today as I had it in my mind that I was going to back the team that batted first between Australia and South Africa as my opening position.  Luckily I got the start time mixed up and missed South Africa losing wickets quickly.

My position for the outright world cup winner market is looking good though.  Thanks to a pre tournament back of Sri Lanka and a mid tournament back of the aussies.

 

I already have £16 on Kauto from the weekends profits and I have £2 double on Peter Ebdon winning the snooker world championships at 14/1 and Kauto @ 5/2 (betfred)

 

I traded todays Cricket world cup semi-finals between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. I had a nice profit from the 1st innings and never fancied the Kiwi's to make the chase so I left my green on Sri Lanka.

 

This blog will chronicle my betting activity between now and the 2008 Gold Cup.  All profits in this time will go be put on Kauto Star to win the big race. 

I am starting with a bank of £100 but dont worry if you think my bankroll management is poor I will top up if needed. 

Most bets will be placed on Betfair and sometimes I will 'trade' a game rather than make a straight bet.  I will be betting on a variety of sports mostly Football and Cricket.
